U2 & Not For Sale

Posted on April 27, 2008

U2 has put out a 3-disc box-set containing the Joshua Tree CD, with new mixes and recorded live performance. This package also includes a 56-page hardback embossed book, featuring previously unseen Anton Corbijn photos and original essays by Bono, Edge, Adam Clayton, Brian Eno, and David Batstone. In 1986, Bono and Dave traveled across El Salvador and Nicaragua to support human rights in the region!

With a $250 donation, you can provide a future for trafficked kids in Peru, and get a David Batstone signed copy of the deluxe edition of the Joshua Tree!

The donation given for this incredible album will benefit Not For Sale’s project Generacion in Peru – providing safety, hope and a future to abandoned street kids prone to trafficking in Lima. The Not For Sale Campaign is aiming to help the organization raise $100,000 to buy a house for the surfing tribe and build a vocational training center for the children. All proceeds from sales of this remarkable album will go to benefit this project!

Act now and Dave will sign his essay reviewing the experiences that led to “Bullet the Blue Sky” and “Mothers of the Disappeared,” two key songs on the album.
